Sky Bunny Stanton

Writer, Musician, AuDHD/OCD Advocate

Sky Stanton (she/they) is a queer disabled advocate and creative artist. Whimsical and passionate, they can be best described as the kind of person who has a favourite tree to hug.Advocacy:
Sky has been an autism/OCD advocate ever since they Googled resources for themselves and realised there weren't any. Since entering OCD recovery, they have hosted a weekly Autism/OCD support group at OCD treatment provider NOCD, as well as co-creating the Autism/OCD training for NOCD therapists. They presented on autism and OCD at the 2023 International OCD Foundation conference and the 2023 IOCDF online conference, and have created multiple other resources for the autism/OCD and queer/OCD intersections (see below). They also run a free informal support Discord for autistic people with OCD (see right!)
Creative Work:
Sky has been performing since childhood, and their writing has been published in a variety of media. More important to them now, though, is exploring creativity beyond perfectionism. Current projects include an autistic drag persona known as Freddy Spectrum, a queer / neurodivergent YA fantasy novel called Tabitha and the Nightingale, and OCD: The Musical.
